Biography
Christian Jørgensen (born 1959) has a MSc.Econ. degree from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark and a MBA from INSEAD in France. Christian started his career in IBM and moved on to the Danish media company Egmont, where ended up as Executive Vice President. From there he became CEO of the start-up mobile operator “3” in Denmark (co-owned by Investor from Sweden and Hutchison-Whampoa from Hong Kong) as one of its first employees. The company launched its services in October 2003 and is today an important player in the market. Christian’s first encounter with healthcare was as EVP in Danish medical device company Coloplast, where he was global responsible for sales and marketing. He moved to Switzerland to join US pharmaceutical and med.device company Baxter as General Manager for Western Europe. In 2012 he went to The Netherlands and took over the position as President Europe for the US based medical device company Hill-Rom. In between the various corporate assignments Christian has worked with aquilo consulting – a consulting company specialized in the healthcare sector. Outside these positions, Christian have had numerous board positions in listed as well as PE owned companies.
