Anders Björkman

Biography

Mr. Anders Björkman, Ph.D. serves as the Chief Executive Officer of OnePhone Holding AB and KPN OnePhone Holding. Mr. Björkman has worked for equipment supplier in network product development, been involved in designing, building and operating one of the first GSM networks, helped grow a start-up consulting business, negotiated and executed a number of merger and acquisition transactions and sat on the Boards of entrepreneurial companies across Europe and in the United States of America. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the international telecom industry, primarily from the Kinnevik group of companies. Mr. Björkman served as a Senior Partner at Argo Global Capital, where he worked out of the London and Stockholm offices. He served as the President of Argnor Wireless Ventures. Mr. Björkman served as a Senior Partner at BrainHeart Capital AB and Brainheart Capital Fund I. He joined BrainHeart Capital in October 2005. He served as Chief Executive officer and President of Tele2 AB (publ). He served as Tele2 Europe SA. Prior to Argnor, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer at Société Européenne de Communication in August 2000. Previously, Mr. Björkman was the President and Chief Executive Officer at Netcom AB and a Managing Director at Netcom Consultants. From August 1989 through March 1993, he held positions within Comvik International Vietnam AB (alternate name, Comvik AB), starting as a Project Engineer and finally as Technical Director. Mr. Björkman’s first professional experience was with Ericsson AB where he held various positions including a Systems Design Engineer for transmission equipment, Group Manager for systems design of an operations and maintenance support systems for transmission equipment worldwide and Product Manager of Transmission Equipment for the United Kingdom market. He served as the Chairman of General Wireless AB and Viva Technologies AS. He has been a Director of Tele2 AB (publ) since May 9, 2017. He has been a Director of Allgon AB (publ) since 2015. He serves as a Director of Birdstep Technology AB and Handmark Europe AB. Mr. Björkman served as a Director of Microcell Telecommunications Inc. from December 9, 1993 to November 9, 2004, Teligent AB from 2001 to March 28, 2007, Hotsip AB and Digital Route AB. He served as a Director of Birdstep Technology ASA until May 3, 2006. Mr. Björkman holds an M.Sc.EE degree from the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenberg, Sweden.
