Biography
Mr. Mads R. Bårdsen has been President of DeepOcean AS since November 1, 2009. Mr. Bårdsen serves as President of DeepOcean Group Holding AS. Mr. Bardsen has over 15 years of experience with subsea technology and subsea operations. He served as Director of International Business and Technology Development at DeepOcean ASA. He served as an Engineering Manager of Deepocean AS since 2002. He served as a Senior Project Engineer of Stolt Offshore (alternatively called Acergy). He served in a strategic advisory role within the Trico Marine Group whereby He worked directly for Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Joseph Compofelice, and acted as primary liaison between DeepOcean and the rest of Trico Marine Group with respect to operations and strategic planning. Mr. Bårdsen served as a Director of DeepOcean ASA until 2007. He served as a Director of Trico Marine Services Inc. He earned a Masters in Engineering and advance education in finance and management. Mr. Bårdsen has a M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and a Master in Technology Management (MTM/MBA) from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and National University of Singapore.
