Biography
Terje Askvig is a Partner and a Senior Industry Expert at Triton. Mr. Askvig focuses on industrials and business services sectors at Triton. Prior to joining Triton in 2012, he spent five years at Eitzen Chemical ASA (now Team Tankers International Ltd.) as President and also as Chief Executive Officer since March 01, 2007. At Eitzen, he was responsible for the world's third largest chemical tanker fleet, integrating five acquired companies and building the company's operational platform. Mr. Askvig was with Fred Olsen group of companies for seven years, where he initiated and led the restructuring of the group's renewables business into Fred Olsen Renewables AS. He was President and Chief Executive Officer at BT Shipping Ltd and worked as Managing Director at Pausco AS. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Nordic Tankers A/S. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco.
