Biography
Dr. Sheila Bennett, Senior Vice President of Patient Care and Chief Nursing Officer at Floyd Medical Center, has been awarded a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from American Sentinel University in Denver, CO in January 2015. Dr. Bennett joined the Floyd family in 2007.
Research Interest
Dr. Bennett received her Nursing Degree from Dalton College; Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville University, Jacksonville, Fla.; Bachelor of Science in Health Arts from the University of St. Francis, Joliet, Ill.; Master in Health Care Administration from the University of St. Francis, Joliet, Ill. Dr. Bennett was appointed to the Cancer Navigators Board of Directors in 2014.
