Biography
Chris has over twenty years upstream experience in Norway, the UK and the Netherlands. He spent 15 years with Shell in a variety of roles, initially as a field engineer working on onshore gas fields in the Netherlands and offshore projects in Norway (Draugen and Ormen Lange); then moving on to the commercial management of Shell’s Atlantic margin exploration assets covering Ireland, Norway and UK and other business development activities particularly in Norwegian gas infrastructure. Before joining Faroe in January 2015, Chris worked for six years with Premier Oil, firstly as UK and Norway commercial manager and then as the Norway business unit manager which included management of both exploration and field development activities.
Research Interest
He holds a BEng in Civil Engineering from Cardiff University and is also a chartered Mechanical Engineer.
