Biography
Sven Nyman is Swedish. He is Chairman and Founder of RAM Rational Asset Management AB as well as Chief Investment Officer for the Fund RAM ONE. Sven Nyman has been active in the financial markets since 1983. Between 1984 and 2002 Nyman was employed by Investor AB or companies owned by Investor AB. Nyman has been Executive Vice President of Investor AB and Head of Active Portfolio Management. He has worked with Investor AB’s core holdings, and was deputy chairman of OM and board member of Diligentia, Gambro and Alecta. From 1995 to 1997 he was President of Investor AB’s subsidiary in New York. Nyman founded and was President of Arbitech (1987) and Lancelot Asset Management (1989), both companies founded by Investor AB et al. Prior to joining Investor AB, Nyman was an analyst with Öhman Investkonsult/Fondkommission. Nyman is a member of the board of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken, the Stockholm School of Economics, Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson Foundation as well as member of the Nobel Foundation’s investment committee.
