Biography
Dr. Enger served as President and CEO of Yara International ASA until 2008. The Yara company was spun out of Norsk Hydro and became a listed company in the spring of 2004. Since then, the market value of the company increased several fold, reaching about 100 billion NOK making it one of the largest companies on the Oslo Stock Exchange with a turnover of almost 90 billion NOK. Yara is the largest supplier of fertilizer in the world with a global presence on all continents.
