Biography
Approximately two-thirds of her time is spent evaluating surgical pathology cases and rendering diagnoses in the subspecialty area of Breast Pathology. This consists of evaluation of core biopsies, surgical excisions, and consult cases for patients with appointments at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and diagnostic consult for difficult breast lesions received from pathologists both regional and national. Research Interest
She serves on the Pathology Department Education Committee and actively involved in improving residency training. She has significant administrative responsibilities as Acting Chief of the Breast Pathology Division, and as the Medical Director of the Surgical Pathology Grossing Room, being enthusiastically involved in day-to-day issues and quality improvements for both the Breast Pathology Service and for the Grossing room.She has been Co-Chair of the BWH-wide Lost Specimens Steering Committee since 2013.
