Biography
Danny Xiao, Ph.D. is a Co-founder and serves as Chief Technology Officer of Inframat Corp. (IMC). Dr. Xiao is IMC's chief technology "engine of growth" and has over 40 technical publications in the area of materials science, including two book chapters, and has several patents pending. He has pioneered the aqueous solution reaction (ASR) approach to the low-cost chemical synthesis of nanophase materials, especially as related to battery and catalysis applications, including MnO2 and Ni(OH)2, as well as wear- and corrosion-resistant coatings. He served as Vice President of R&D at Inframat Corp. (IMC). He serves as Chairman and Director of Inframat Corp. (IMC). He received his M.S. degree in 1987 and Ph.D. degree in 1991 in Metallurgy and Materials Sciences, respectively, from the University of Connecticut.
