David E. Reisner

Biography

David E. Reisner serves as Vice President of International Sales of Inframat Corporation. Dr. Reisner also serves as Chief Executive Officer and President of U.S. Nanocorp, Inc. He served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Inframat Corporation. He served as Director of Research & Development at Electrochimica Corporaton and managed SBIR Phase II programs in both Ni-Zn and rechargeable Li batteries. He Co-Founded U.S. Nanocorp. Dr. Reisner also served as Vice President at Electro Energy, Inc., where he managed projects in bipolar stackable wafer cell batteries, developed a business plan under the former CII SBIR Assistance program, did market analysis, and ultimately took the lead in initiating and negotiating a license deal with a multinational Taiwanese firm. Formally trained as a chemical physicist at MIT in the field of laser molecular spectroscopy, Dr. Reisner did postdoctoral work applying the synchrotron radiation technique of EXAFS to study atoms on metal surfaces. He Co-founded both Inframat® and US Nanocorp® in 1996, as a vehicle to develop nanostructured materials technology for coatings, high surface area media and energy storage and conversion devices. Dr. Reisner serves as head of The Nano Group, Inc. a holding company formed in Y2004, owning both operating companies, as a vehicle for private equity investment. He serves as Chairman of US Nanocorp's commercialization spin off, Battery Intelligence Incorporated. He serves on the Board of the Connecticut Venture Group and serves as Chairman of the Board of the Connecticut Technology Council.
