Biography
Daniel W. Chan, PhD, DABCC, FACB, is Professor of Pathology, Oncology, Radiology, and Urology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, and Director of the Clinical Chemistry Division and Co-Director of the Pathology Core Laboratory of Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Chan is the also Director of the Biomarker Discovery Center, Johns Hopkins University. Daniel W. Research Interest
Dr. Chan has edited and written five books on immunoassay, immunoassay automation, diagnostic endocrinology, and tumor markers. He has published more than 200 articles, including the tumor marker chapters in the Tietz Textbook of Clinical Chemistry and in Tumor Markers: Physiology, Pathobiology, Technology, and Clinical Applications, which he also co-edited.
