Biography

I am curious. I like to understand how things work. Following this passion, my work as computational chemist is focused on the investigation and modeling of catalytic activities both in enzymes and synthetic catalysts. Once one gains insight into the mechanisms of these atomic scale machines, it is possible to optimize the systems, steer selectivities or design inhibitors, for me this a highly rewarding task.
