Biography
Vera Baumgartl-Strasser’s role as Head of Licensing & Grant Management ensures the Hookipa team is strong and credible. Vera secures the company’s patent portfolio, partnering agreements, and still finds time to attract and manage public funding. Vera comes to Hookipa with 10 years of experience in the biotech industry. Before joining Hookipa in 2012, Vera was a Business Development Manager and Scientific Marketing Manager at Intercell AG. She holds a MSc and PhD in biochemistry from University of Vienna and Medical University of Vienna, respectively.
