Biography
Mr. Fossgård is a portfolio director with BW Ventures; an industry-funded investment partnership investing in growth stage companies that provide technology-based products and services to the maritime industry. Mr. Fossgård has extensive experience with portfolios in green innovation and solutions for the maritime industry and currently holds additional director positions with such companies. Mr. Fossgård holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Washington State University with a concentration in risk management and finance. His career started with Dyno Nobel, a world leading supplier of industrial explosives, working in the field of finance. Formerly with BW Gas, Mr. Fossgård was a treasurer facilitating corporate and project financing, as well as controlling currency and interest rate risk.
