Frank Larsen

Biography

  Frank Larsen, Ph.D has been the Chief Executive Officer of Birkeland Innovation, the University of Oslo Technology Transfer Office since November 2004. Dr. Larsen served as the Chief Executive Officer of Mole Genetics AS. He has more than 15 years experience from academic research (University of Oslo), and industrial research as Director R&D at Dynal Biotech. His research has resulted in an extensive number of publications in peer-reviewed journals as well as several book chapters. He Co-Founded Cytomics and served as its Chief Executive Officer, and Co-Founded and served as Chief Operating Officer & marketing director of GenoVision. He has international experience as Executive Director, Global Sales & Marketing of Qiagen. He serves as Chairman of Omegatri AS and Cgene AS. He served as Chairman of Mole Genetics AS, and IC particles AS. He served as a Director of Mole Genetics AS. He served as board member of several Norwegian Biotechnology companies including the successful Innovio AS. Dr. Larsen received Ph.D. in Medical Genetics from University of Osloc.
