Biography
Mr. Lee Walburn is a Rome News Tribune columnist and former editor-in-chief of Atlanta magazine. Under his 15-year leadership the magazine won more than 200 awards for excellence, more than 80 of them national awards. He is a member of the Georgia Magazine Association Hall of Fame.
Research Interest
A graduate of LaGrange High School, Walburn attended West Georgia Junior College and graduated from LaGrange College with a B.A. in English. In 2003, LaGrange College awarded him an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters. He resides in Rome with wife, Jackie. They have three children and seven grandchildren.
