Biography
"Rob is a Managing Director at Smedvig Capital, which he joined in 2001. He has particular experience in FMCG, retail, support services, financial services and property. Prior to joining Smedvig Capital, Rob was a director at Jardine International Motors, a $4bn auto industry group. There he was responsible for strategy and M&A, completing transactions both in Europe and in the US. Previously he spent six years in strategy consulting at Bain & Company, leading assignments on strategic, operational and organisational issues for clients in a variety of sectors. Rob has an MBA with distinction from London Business School. He is a board member at PPC, Mediamorph and myhomemove (Chairman). Rob was previously a board member of Tusker, Selstor (Chairman), Protego (Chairman), Streetcar and Almondy."
