Biography
Egil Gjesteland is currently project director of the project Gassco Emden in addition to operating a consultancy company in the oil and gas industry, Gjesteland Consulting AS. He is a graduate engineer at NTH, has worked for Statoil in Abu Dhabi and has been IT and project manager for a number of oil and gas projects under the auspices of Statoil. Gjesteland was project director for Snøhvit development at Tromsø flaket over a four-year period. Gjestland has also been a lecturer at BI MBA program and at UC Berkeley.
