Biography
Rue holds a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Oslo. He is Executive Vice President in Statnett and responsible for exercising Statnett's system responsibility and main grid owner management. Rue is also Statnett’s emergency unit leader. He has previously held several different management positions in Statnett. Rue heads the Regional Group Nordic in ENTSO-E responsible for coordinating the Nordic synchronous area. He was formerly Director of Saga Petroleum AS and Deputy Assistant Director General at the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry. Rue is a board member of Eksportkreditt.
