Biography
Hjorth is chairman of Newsec Norway and chairman of the Newsec Nordic Executive Committee (EC), who provides advice and brokerage in commercial property. Hjorth also has several directorships. He has held several management positions in industry, finance and the energy industry, including as CEO of Nord Pool ASA until 2000. Hjorth is a graduate degree economist from BI Norwegian Business School and has been in Statnett's Board since 2008. In 2015 he was elected Chairman of the Board.
