Biography
Hjorth is the President of Newsec Norway and head of the Newsec Nordic executive committee (EC), a consultancy and brokerage firm for commercial properties. Hjorth also serves on a number of boards. He has held a number of managerial positions within industry, finance and the energy sector, including as general manager of Nord Pool ASA until 2000. Hjorth holds a Master of Business and Economics from BI Norwegian Business School, and has served on Statnett’s Board since 2008. He was elected Chairman in 2015.
