Previously Giles headed the Middle East, Turkey and Africa region where he strengthened controls and compliance whilst re-engineering the business for growth. He also held various leadership positions including General Manager Brazil, where he transformed Takeda into a top 10 pharma industry player, being externally recognised for the first time as one of the country’s top employers and best companies to work for.
