Biography
Joanna Lee is a Principal on The Abraaj Group’s Investor Engagement team, focusing on investor coverage and stakeholder engagement in the Americas. Prior to joining Abraaj, Ms. Lee worked at the Northstar Group, Southeast Asian private equity firm, in Investor Relations and was responsible for fundraising and overseeing global investor relationships. Prior to Northstar, she was at Cambridge Associates in the investment consulting group in the Boston and Singapore offices. In this capacity, Ms. Lee worked with various institutional clients based in the US, Europe, and Asia and advised clients on investment portfolio strategy, asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment manager selection and implementation. She also assisted with investment manager due diligence projects for US and Asia focused investment managers. Ms. Lee began her career at Harvard Management Company in the Donor Relations group. Ms. Lee received a BA in Legal Studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
