Biography
Zafar Zohidov is a Director in the Credit Team at Abraaj. Before joining Abraaj, Mr. Zohidov was a Managing Director for seven years at Black River Asset Management, an asset management arm of Cargill, focusing on the EMEA region. Prior to that, he was an Investment Analyst at Thames River Capital, an alternative asset management firm working on distressed and high yield credit transactions in EMEA. Mr. Zohidov was previously a Vice President in Credit Risk Management at Deutsche Bank AG, with a special focus on CIS and Russia, and a Financial Analyst at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London. Mr. Zohidov holds an MSc in International Securities, Investments and Banking from University of Reading, UK and a BSc in Economics and Production Management from Fergana State University, Uzbekistan
