Biography
Dr Amita Bhagat holds a brilliant academic record and has been an outstanding student throughout her studies. She is a recipient of the Gold Medal for both her graduation and post- graduation. Her research domain includes Retrial Queueing Systems, Stochastic Modelling and Performance Analys. She recently earned her doctoral degree at the Department of Mathematics, IIT Roorkee, on the topic ‘Performance Analysis of Retrial Queueing Systems’. She is presently interested in exploring new dimensions in her field including fluid queues. She has presented her research papers in national and international conferences, including the 8th International Conference on Queueing Theory and Network Applications at Providence University, Taichung, Taiwan. She has published several research papers in international journals of repute including SCI journals. She is associated with the University since August 2014. She is a member of various reputed associations including the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT). Dr Amita has one year’s teaching and six years of research experience.
