Biography
Dr Kanu Priya has done her doctorate from Panjab University, Chandigarh with over 11 years of experience in legal practice and academics. She has handled matrimonial, consumer and other civil disputes and also acted as resource person in various government institutes in the State of Punjab. As a research scholar, she visited USA and other developed countries to analyze the socio-legal impact of overseas Indians in those countries. She has authored a book entitled “Immigration Laws” published by Lexis Nexis. She has published articles online as well as in national and international journals. Her participation in National Seminars and Conferences has always been valued and appreciated. Her teaching areas include Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Interpretation of Statutes and Legal Drafting. She has been the founding faculty of School of Law, G.D.Goenka University and the Research Head of Constitutional Studies Group prior to joining School of Law, The NorthCap University.
