Ms Rita Chhikara

Biography

Ms. Rita Chhikara received her M.tech CSE degree from Punjab Technical University, B.tech degree from Pune University, MBA(IT) from Sikkim and Manipal University and is currently pursuing PhD from The Northcap University (NCU) in Data Mining. She has an excellent teaching experience of 15 years in various esteemed institutions. She is presently working on a project titled “Neural Network based Steganalysis” funded by Department of Science and Technology. Her current areas of research include Machine Learning, Image Processing and Information Security. She has chaired a session at IEEE sponsored conference, ISMS Malaysia 2015. She has written the Laboratory Manual for Working with Rational Rose and Matlab. She has guided 10 M.Tech Thesis and 12 B.Tech Projects. She is recipient of young scientist award for a paper presented at ICICT, 2013 and has received certificate of appreciation for her outstanding contribution in teaching/learning at NCU. She has Published 15 Papers in peer reviewed International Journals with good indexing and reputed national/international conference proceedings. She is facilitator for research project proposals (RDIL). She has been actively involved in coordinating and organizing various workshops like Neural Networks, Big Data etc. She is reviewer for IJCSIS, life time member of ISTE, active ACM member and faculty coordinator for Google Club.
