Biography
Dr. Yoon-Flannery performs all aspects of breast surgery, including lumpectomy, skin- sparing mastectomy, nipple-sparing mastectomy, and axillary lymph node procedures. A resident of southern New Jersey, Dr. Yoon-Flannery earned her undergraduate degree from New York University and received her medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine (formerly UMDNJ-SOM). Dr. Yoon-Flannery completed her residency at RowanSOM, where she served as Chief Surgical Resident in 2015-2016. She also holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from the Rutgers School of Public Health in Piscataway, NJ. Research Interest
Dr. Yoon-Flannery is a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons, the Society of Surgical Oncology, the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. Her areas of special interest include: minimally invasive breast surgery particularly nipple-sparing mastectomy, and novel approaches in breast lesion localization. She is also certified in Hidden Scar Breast Cancer Surgery.
