Energy efficiency and system integration (supply- and demand-side) Energy hub and smart energy management through ICT Combined cooling, heating, and power generation Multi-generation and micro CCHP Thermal power plants' performance enhancement and operation/maintenance management Renewable/clean energy technologies; wind, hydro, bio, geothermal, and solar (feasibility study, modeling, and optimization) Mechanical design optimization and product development for energy systems Development of global optimization methodologies for high-dimensional/large-scale complex problems in mechanical engineering
