Biography
"Even Arntzen is raised in the settlement Lødingen (Hinnøya - Norway's largest island) at the Vestfjord in Nordland, but has lived in Tromsø since 1983. Arntzen has written a master thesis on Knut Hamsun ( 'See, Night is Life and Woman's Heroes.' One intertextual analysis of Knut Hamsun's drama, UiT, 1988), and taken the doctorate of Hans E. Kinck ( Vraal and his literary sibling. in Hans E. Kinck's Drifttekaren and PaaRindalslager, UiT, 1995). Even Arntzen has written and edited several books on Knut Hamsun's authorship, latest releases: Veier til Hamsun (2006), Power and Moral (2008), Knut Hamsun - Northern Lending, Nobel Prize winner and Nazi (2009), Uro. Knut Hamsun and the Restless Man (2010). He has also published a novel, Veien mot Ngàje Ngài (2002). In addition, a two-year period has also been held in the Brage jury and denotes itself as literary all-rounder - but with love for Hamsun, Strindberg, Shakespeare and Paul Auster - as well as considering ocean and outdoor people."
