Biography
"Started as Chief Executive Officer at the Center for Sami Studies in 1992, was a fellow in Political Science from 1997 to 2001. After this period, I returned to the Center and continued in the position as Administrative Leader. In 2008 I dispute. During the period February 2009-June 2010, I had a leave to coordinate the Arctic Governance project . In addition, during the period March 2010 - February 2011, I was a project leader in the Fávllis network on the project ""Traditional knowledge and management of fjords such as ecosystems and cultural landscapes"". In the fall of 2010, I was associated with work package 6 in the Arctic Tipping Points projectand focused on marine society's management of administrative and ecological changes and their opportunities for participation in the management of renewable resources. In February 2011, I started researching on the circumpolar project TUNDRA and the project Finnmark Changing Landscapes . Has been a professional leader at the Center for Sami Studies since 1 January 2013. In English: For two periods (1992-1997 and 2001-2010) I served as the administrative director of the Center for Sami Studies. My dissertation in political science was completed in 2008. From February 2008 to June 2010 I served as a coordinator on the Arctic Governance Project . I chaired the Fávllis project and have been associated with the project Arctic Tipping Points . I am a scholar at the TUNDRA and Finnmark landscape projects, UiT - the Arctic University of Norway. Since January 2013 I have been the academic director of the Center for Sami Studies."
