Biography
His teaching experience is linked to different perspectives in cultural and gender-related research, including Themes such as communities, place, gender relations, women and men have been in focus. In recent years, she have also administered and taught at PhD level on gender research, science theory and methodology.
Research Interest
His research interest has been concentrated around fishing communities with particular emphasis on cultural and gender-related aspects in relation to payroll and unpaid work and to politics. She starting point has been research in places in the coastal Finnmark and at major lakes in Tanzania and North Cameroon.
