Dr. Karl-Arne Stokkan is currently working as a Professorin the Department of Arctic and marine biology, University of Tromso , Norway. His research interests includes The photoperiodic control of biological rhythms in Arctic animals (ptarmigan and reindeer). Emphasis op de daglengte controle van seizoensgebonden en dagelijkse rhythms of lichaamsfuncties, zoals reproductie, energie-inname, vaatafzetting en het activiteitsmatroon.. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Karl-Arne Stokkan is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities.
