Research Interest

Cellular mechanisms of infectious diseases in arctic animals, including zoonotic diseases. In my post doc period, I had a special focus on cell biology and immunology, with the development of infection models in primary cell cultures isolated from current wild Arctic animals. I am also interested in combined effects of climate and environmental change on health and the ability to fight disease.
