"Dr. Marit Westergaard is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Language and Culture, University of Tromso , Norway. His research interests includes First, second/third, and bilingual language acquisition, syntactic variation, heritage languages, language attrition, diachronic change, comparative syntax, word order, nominal structure (grammatical gender, definiteness, possessives), English, Norwegian (especially North Norwegian dialects), Russian, German. She is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Marit Westergaard is the member of many international affiliations.
