Biography
Natasa Skalko-Basnet is a Professor and Head of Drug Transport and Delivery Research Group in the department of Pharmacy in the University of Tromso, Norway. She completed her PhD from the University of London. She has publications of 46 refereed original research articles, 4 reviews and 1 book chapter and 75 abstracts of contribution to international scientific conferences. Research Interest
Her research interests include liposomes as novel drug delivery system in topical application, especially skin and vaginal therapy, bioadhesive hydrogels as wound dressings, topical formulations containing natural origin substances and liposomes as drug carriers for poorly soluble drugs.
