"Dr. Schmidt, Michael is currently working as a Professor in the Department of Language and Culture, University of Tromso , Norway. His research interests includes German literature and cultural history from the enlightenment to the present;literature theory, especially hermeneutics;anti-Semitism and Jewish-German history,history of science, especially dilettantism,bokhistorie;polar genres, especially criminal novel and vampire literature;image and text, new codicism;disease stories (special early new times);Johannes Schefferus. He is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several international reputed journals. Dr. Schmidt, Michael is the member of many international affiliations. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities.
