Biography
Janet earned her bachelors degrees in psychology and speech communication at Minnesota State – Mankato, followed by her Master’s degree in clinical psychology at North Dakota State University. During her fourteen year career as a psychologist, she gained experience in leading a private nonprofit as the director.
Research Interest
Janet and her husband Mark have been involved with A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation since 2010 after attending their first Twin Cities Lung Run/Walk. Janet and Mark are the parents of two adult children: John, a mechanical engineering Ph.D. student at the University of Minnesota, and Anna, an Occupational Therapy graduate student at the University of North Dakota.
