Torgeir kvidal

Biography

 Mr. Torgeir Kvidal has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Yara International ASA effective as of September 9, 2015. He has been appointed Acting President and Chief Executive Officer at Yara International ASA for a period from October 7, 2014 until September 9, 2015. He was Chief Financial Officer of the Company from June 15, 2012 until October 7, 2014. He was Acting Chief Financial Officer of the Company from May 21, 2012, and Senior Vice President Head of Supply and Trade at the Company from April 1, 2011 until June 15, 2012. Previously, he was Head of Investor Relations at the Company between 2006 and May 1, 2011. He started his professional career at Hydro as trainee in 1991. Over the years, he served in such roles as Corporate Controller Hydro Agri from 1993 to 1997, Vice President of Finance Hydrogas from 1997 to 1999, Head of Business Unit CO2/Industrial Central Europe from 2000 until 2005, and Chief Financial Officer Industrial between 2005 and 2006. He holds a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration from Norges Handelshoyskole (Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration).
