Biography

Mr. Leif Teksum has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Yara International ASA since May 5, 2014. Since August 2014, Mr. Teksum has worked as a professional board member in various companies and since 2015 he has also been a partner and an independent advisor in Vest Corporate Advisors AS, a small corporate “boutique” located in Bergen, Norway. Mr. Teksum retired from DNB Bank ASA in August 2014. From 1991 until his retirement he held various positions in the DNB Group Management being responsible for large corporate clients and all international banking activities, the bank’s Investment Banking area, the Asset Management area as well as the IT and Procurement activities. He is Member of the Board of Austevoll Seafood ASA and EVRY AS and member of the board of several family owned companies. He holds Master's degree (sivilokonom) in Business and Economics from NHH, Bergen, Norway.
