Biography
Mr. Usman Ahmed has been the Chief Executive Officer of Citi Bahrain and Citi Islamic Investment Bank E. C. at Citigroup Inc. since October 2015. Mr. Ahmed served as the Chief Executive Officer of Citi Islamic Investment Bank E.C. and Global Islamic Banking at Citigroup Inc. since 2007. Mr. Ahmed served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Citi's Global Islamic Banking business since 2006, and has held various product and geographic coverage positions at Citi in London, Bahrain and Pakistan since joining in 1996. He served as a Director of Barclays Bank of Botswana Limited since April 2009.
