Christopher Gnana

Biography

  Dr. Christopher holds a PhD in ELT (English Language Teaching), M.Phil. and B.Ed. in English, and a CELTA from Cambridge University. He has been teaching English Language since 1996. He began his teaching career in Oman with the Ministry of Education in 1996, and continued working there till 2005. He joined the Higher College of Technology in Muscat in 2007 as a Lecturer in English Language, and served at the Post Foundation program for 8 years. Dr. Christopher joined Majan University College in Sept. 2015 and he is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of English Language Studies. Research Interest

His research area is ‘developing communicative competence’ and he has published five research articles in reputed refereed journals. Teaching is a passion for Dr. Christopher, and he has been striving hard to make it even more effective every time he meets his students in the class.
