Biography
Dr. Larysa Nikolayeva earned her PhD in Linguistic Typology in 2005. She teaches: Intensive academic reading, General Writing and Academic Writing on the BA (Hons) English Language programme. She is also the module coordinator for English for Specific Purposes and part of a teaching team for General and Academic Writing and Personal Development and Communication Skills offered by the Faculty of Business Management. Research Interest
Her research included the study of 40 languages belonging to 10 language families. Her research interests are mostly connected with typological word-building, typological semantics, polysemy and typological universals.
