Swapnil Morande

Biography

Swapnil is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Business Management at Majan College. He specialises in Systems and E-Business modules for Management programmes. Swapnil brings in experience as a Project Manager (Software, IT Security) and Sr. Business Consultant in the Technology sector along with 5 years of teaching experience. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University, USA and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from University of Pune, INDIA. Swapnil has presented research papers in over 10 National & International Conferences and has published his research on topics aligned with Technology Management, E-Business and Cloud Computing Applications. Swapnil served as co-editor of a book titled 'Management Strategies and Practices in Dynamic Global Environment' in 2012-13. He is a recipient of the ‘Best Research Paper’ award in an International Research Conference for his work on Information management using the ‘Hadoop framework’. Swapnil's current research focus includes the area of Business Intelligence (BI) & Workspace Productivity Management. Swapnil believes in the 'Medici effect', where his technical and management skills work together leveraging his global work exposure to create a unique teaching style.
