Uma Selvi

Biography

Dr. Uma is an Associate Professor in Accounting and Finance and was the Quality Assurance coordinator for the Faculty of Business Management before becoming Head of Faculty.  She has a PhD in financial management  and also  holds  a Master in Accounting and Finance, an M.Phil and an MBA where she secured the university first rank. Dr. Uma has over two decades of successful teaching experience and she teaches Advanced Management Accounting, Investment Decision Analysis, Strategic Finance, Cost Accounting and Research Methods for the postgraduate, undergraduate and ACCA programmes.  She is an approved research supervisor for doctoral studies and has published several research papers in international and national journals.
