Vamsi Prasad

Biography

Vamsi Prasad is a Lecturer of Accounting & Finance in the Faculty of Business Management.  She holds a Masters in Commerce and professional certification from the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants. She has 15 years teaching experience and has taught different courses in Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Corporate Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Financial Reporting and International Accounting & Finance. She has taught at different levels including undergraduate, postgraduate and ACCA Programmes. Prior to joining Majan, she taught at the Maldives Business School in the Maldives, University of Asmara in North East Africa and premier colleges in India.  She has published research papers in international journals on Accounting and Management topics.  Her areas of interest includes financial accounting theory, international accounting, empirical analysis of accounting information and accounting standards.
