Evangeline Arguelles

Biography

Mrs. Evangeline Arguelles has been called to teach for two decades now. Her experience extends from elementary to college teaching in both formal and non-formal education environments. She not only has an extensive English teaching experience, but she has also taught courses in other academic disciplines such as: Literature, Social Sciences, Humanities, Philosophy, Ethics and Communication courses. While she’s been building her teaching portfolio, she has attended several trainings and workshops mostly on language teaching and assessment, teaching innovation, multi-media use, and other professional development courses both in the Philippines and here in Oman. She has also undergone the CELTA as well as an IELTS “Train the Trainer” courses. While teaching in a multi-cultural work environment, she has learned to be a flexible, dynamic, innovative, proactive team player. As she values her significance to the society, she is also an active participant in different civic and religious activities where she shares her expertise, skills and passion with others.
