Mariam Al Riyami

Biography

Maryam received here sociology post-graduate MSc from the University of Southampton (England, UK) and her BA from Temple University (Philadephia, USA). Recently she added the CELTA certification to her CV while still writing her MPhil dissertation. Indulging in her fascination of human behavior, Maryam devotes her energies to research and developing projects that facilitate communication and social awareness. She is presently a social science lecturer and is part of the General Education Department faculty in Modern College of Business and Science. Previously she lectured at Oman Medical College and Oman Dental College on the impact of patient social behavior on health and health service provision. She’s worked with the United Nations Population Fund as a project consultant on youth and health programs. Maryam was also the director of the study abroad program at the Center for International Learning.
