Biography

Ms. Rushiel I. Manangan has 11 years of experience in education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education (2005) and a Master of Arts in Teaching specializing in Mathematics, completed in 2011 in the Philippines. She passed the Professional Board Examination for Teachers, which qualified her to teach and began her educational career as a Mathematics Instructor. In 2011 Ms. Rushiel taught Continuing Professional Education ( CPE ) to professionals seeking to advance career opportunities in the field of education. Ms. Rushiel was a member of the research committee of Modern College of Business and Science. She researched and developed supplementary instructional material, entitled “Worktext in Technical Mathematics.” This material is now archived in the Philippine National Library. Her current main interests are mathematical cognition and the development of mathematics curriculum for credit courses. She has significant experience in teaching Algebra, Business Mathematics, Calculus, Basic Statistics, Basic Accounting, Measurement and Evaluation and Foundations of Education. Ms. Rushiel I.
